Remember, essential oils are not applied to the skin directly. It must be diluted with the carrier oil like sweet almond oil or olive oil. It is recommended as well to do an allergy test before trying any essential oil. This is done by diluting the essential oil in a carrier oil at twice the concentration. Next, rub the mixture into the area size of a quarter on the inside of the forearm. Check the area for the next 24 to 48 hours, and if there is no change, then it is safe to use.
